Q BALL ‘A’

Last week, we took a bit of a drubbing at home by the Pool Club. We hoped that we could get back on track against a very capable Q Ball team. At the end of the singles it was honours even, MJ, Gordon, Ian and Trevor (about time) picking up wins for the Tulip. The doubles started well with Craig and Ian taking the first frame but with Andy and Trevor failing in frame two it was to be a final frame decider. Gordon and MJ stepped up and deep into the frame MJ tried to cover a pocket but alas the ball just dropped in. MJ clearly disappointed reverted to plan B, and cleared the remaining 3 colours plus black to take the frame and match.

Next week, its home to the Blue Lion. Another classic in the making? Or will the table still be causing problems?
