Premier B Vs Premier A. Both sides confident of a win, but only having played each other once before in last years 9 aside (Wheatsheaf team then being the Triangle club) it was always going to be a testing match. As last time the Tulip ‘C’ turned up with a player short as MJ working, Rob still away in Spain & Waspy busy with his girlfriend’s birthday.

Gordon however put the Tulip ‘C’ in front potting superbly and giving his opponent very few chances. Glenn doubled the lead totally annihilating his opponent. Wins for Pete, Mike & Ian gave the Premier A side a comfortable 5-0 lead before the home side gained their first point in the match, Craig the guilty party. Trevor will be disappointed to have lost as he looked in control for most of his frame and with the Tulip side missing a man it was 5-3 at the end of the singles. But the match was put to bed by Gordon & Pete in the first doubles as their patient approach was just not expected by the home side.
